Crystal has been with the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District since 2005 and began her career with the District as an Office Assistant. Through hard work and continuing her education, with the assistance of the District’s tuition reimbursement program, she has promoted and held various positions at the District including Administrative Clerk, Human Resources Clerk, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Human Resources Specialist, and served as the District’s Clerk of the Board for ten years. As the Human Resources Manager, Crystal works to ensure that the District’s employees are provided with the support and resources needed to help accomplish their job and the District’s mission to protect the public health of our community.

Crystal obtained her Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration from College of the Desert, Bachelor of Science in Business Management, a Certificate of Concentrated Study in Human Resource Management, and Master of Science in Human Relations and Organizational Development all from Champlain College. She is currently enrolled in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology Doctoral Program at Grand Canyon University.

A Coachella Valley native, Crystal is a proud member of the community and has enjoyed watching the Valley grow. She has two children and enjoys being an active volunteer at their school and being co-leader of her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.
